Corrections come first

Wrong answer, wrong clue wording, broken link, puzzle number that does not match the live game: send those with as much detail as you have. Corrections help every solver who lands on the same page after you, and they are the messages we act on first.

For navigation, hint, or explanation feedback, include the page URL. For anything tied to a specific round, include the puzzle number and the date. A screenshot of the live game saves a round of back and forth when wording looks off.

Fastest correction: puzzle number, date, and what the live game says versus what this page says. That trio is enough to start a fix.

What to include

Puzzle number (for example 874), puzzle date, and what looks wrong. If a clue reads differently in the app than on the site, quote both versions. If search missed a word you expected, say the query you typed and the puzzle you expected.

General questions about how difficulty or pattern tags are chosen are welcome too. Those tags are editorial, and the About page explains the method. If something still looks inconsistent between two puzzles, the numbers help us check.

  • Puzzle number and date
  • Page URL (for navigation or wording issues)
  • Live game text vs site text, if they differ
  • Search query and expected puzzle, if search missed

Response expectations

This site is small and focused on daily accuracy. Corrections with a number and date are handled as quickly as they can be verified against the game. Feature requests and general notes are read, though a reply is not guaranteed on every message.

We do not take guest posts, link insertions, or database republishing requests through this page. If you want to reuse material at scale, that needs a separate permission conversation, not a casual note buried in feedback.

Before you write

Check the answer page first. Many wording questions are already covered in the clue-by-clue section, and many tag questions are answered on the About page under how explanations are written.

If the live game and this site disagree, trust the game and send the puzzle number. That single detail is enough to start a correction.
